David--I believe you're right about the stock taking off like a rocket as soon as they post a positive earning quarter (although it might well happen before that, too). E*Trade could post a profit now if they chose to reduce their advertising, but they would be making a terrible mistake if that's the course they chose--the truth is that they're gaining market share on the other OLBs, and doing so at a lower (much lower, in many cases) customer acquisition rate.

I only own two stocks, EGRP and a much more speculative R&D company; EGRP, in my view, is an incredible bargain at its current price--if I didn't own so much of it already, I'd buy more...
