StockSplits.com Announces Investment Opinion
BUSINESS WIRE - February 29, 2000 08:07
BLAKES LEE, Pa., Feb 29, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

StockSplits.com Real Time Split Alerts Give You The Edge

During January 2000 there were 78 stock split announcements which rewarded investors with huge profits.

Stock splits have outperformed the major indices with fantastic results and many analysts see the trend continuing.

Stocks don't go up just because of a split announcement. The higher priced stocks that make it near or above the $100.00 area have already done their job. Odds are that the positive movement will continue.

Some investors believe that splits are short-term trades while others believe them to be longer-term trades. StockSplits.com believes in both. During their many years of announcing REAL TIME split alerts they have seen that the majority of those stocks have continued their upward movement from announcement date right up to the actual splitting of the stock.

Their web site stocksplits.com shows an analysis of recent split announcements that have had tremendous gains within just two to three weeks.

Unlike other web sites, StockSplits.com also offers economical "one on one" telephone INSTRUCTON using charting analysis plus a variety of indicators to assist investors in choosing which stocks will likely be the best picks.

Split alerts REAL TIME by Email or Pager plus "one on one" training makes stocksplits.com a very unique service.

Aha. Well...here's what a writer friend wrote me last week, in response to my riff on cougars in a letter:

"The cougar is gorgeou sand you can see eternity in its eyes--I know becaues I've looked a cougar in its eyes. Half my life ago we came upon a cougar hunting at dusk and we stood still and in aw (I felt no fear, only wonder, and caution, which was respect) and she glanced at us, in quick acknolwedgement, and went on with her hunt. She knew we meant her no harm, and she meant us no harm. The cougar can leap 40 feet from a sitting position. Park rangers who know their ground well have reported seeing cougar tracks but never, in years of being in the area, seeing the cougar...the cougar gets fierce and vicious only when she's cornered or trapped. When met on her own ground and honeslty and with respect she's gorgeous wildness incarnate, and she goes her own way."

Oh well, he says it much better than I could!

When do you guys (not gender specific) have time to trade? I go away to my brokerage site for a bit and come back to everyone having a raucous good time.

Don't stop!

None of my business but I did have the opportunity to look a black bear in the eye in Labrador. Also, once had the opportunity to stare down a marten. The worst was the German Shepard down the street.
