FNS:

New "floor" IMO is 83 (1.5 x 32 + 35), and with COMS at 83, you're getting the IPO at current cost of 32. How far we go now depends on the premium people are willing to pay to get in. With the pricing at 15 and COMS at 80, they were willing to pay a premium of about 15 (100%), the same $$ premium now would get us to 100+, the same % premium would get us to around 130.

But there are only two trading days and a hour or two on Thursday morning instead of 4 weeks, so 130 is too far. 100 is certainly possible once people do the math, right now they seem to be having trouble digesting the doubling of the offering price and what it means. They ought to visit here.

You have to hand it to Goldman, they waited until COMS topped out at 80+, figured the market was telling them it would pay 30-32 for PALM, and re-priced accordingly. IMO, final pricing tomorrow after the close will reflect the same reasoning, and COMS at 88 at tomorrow's close will price PALM at around 35, COMS at 95 will price PALM in at 40.

Whisper number for the opening is at 67.85, but that appears to reflect the old price of 15:

This should go up today and tomorrow. Expect a pop in COMS on Thursday morning, then all hell breaks loose. ready for some surfing?

<Hit my projected 88 pre IPO this morn! Now I have no clue where we go from here!!! LOL! >

FNS, thank you very much ! That's was a good call - a bit consrvative I guess.

Just for interest sake, the 2001 $70 calls I paid $17 1/2 to buy days ago (at that time it looked very expensive) is now 42 1/2 ! Never seen anything like this in my life.

How to sell these things will be a big test of nerve in the future !
