If Russia really has huge amounts of oil awaiting potential export, and if the Russian ecomony has been hurt by (among many other things) low oil prices, might there not be a recovery in Russia accompanying high oil prices? And might Templeton Russia Fund (TRF) be a way to play it?

Just an idea that crossed my mind this morning and since most of my ideas are not very good I wondered what was wrong with this one. I don't own any TRF, but it was a lot higher 2-3 years ago.

JQP - Just sold my NSS at 12, probably a mistake, but what the hey it's money right? I'm rooting around in the seismic area, I'm liking PGO here. Got any OS faves I might have forgot? I'm really really trying to warm up to PKD, but just never seem to be able to pull the trigger on that one. I don't trust Russian anything. Those guys will steal you BLIND! Ah I know what's GW doing these days?
