HI GZ,

Ya I've always wanted to own SLR - They are an 800 pound gorilla in contract mfr. Very much like Intel is to microprocessors.Leaders in it and big (very well balanced blend of business).

I thought they looked like a short term pop candidate too.I couldn't believe that they came up in one of my computer scans.I'm still trying to learn how to do effective daily scans and pop in and out.My past successes have all been positional and I'm trying to learn a new trick.

The main point of the chart was look how such a fundamentally strong niche leader can have a 45% dip while the market sets new records. The huge volume spike of selling in late Dec (not shown on chart)was the exit of some big sponsors . Undoubtedly the beginning of the problem with price.

An example of what I'm looking for at the top to short. If one can be in a short, as the stock transitions to weakness, then a market dip ( doesn't have to be a crash )will give me a short term drop in price. Dips will do well -crashes would be nice. Hehehehe

Thanks for the advice

Bob
