Yes, it's about money from their side of it, for sure. And not without reason. We do need to acknowledge that they have every right to make money from SI, from us and our effort in fact. They bought it, it's theirs, they even own the copyright to our posts, you know. That they made such a brillant deal for SI, paying nothing more than some share paper, doesn't take away from that right.

But it's hard to see how the incompetence displayed in the loss of functions from the real SI in this current Bright Idea du jour aids the effort of making them money. What could they possibly gain from making their site display ascii character sets incorrectly? ... from putting a Remove Subjectmark button right under PreviousNextRespond where the View Subjectmarks should be? ... from reducing legibility, from putting those stupid stripes on the message list, from the fantastically slow loading? .... yeah the browsemaster, i never used that, always meant to and never got around to it. Ah feel yo pain, gg ... read my lips, no new taxes ... y'all wanna seegar? ... how about a cookie, lol
