Well, i'm happy for you, Junior, if you find a use for some of go2net's bells and whistles. I don't. For me SI was a financial discussion site. Well with some charming nutcases to goof off with in Coffee Shop as well. I'm glad the quotes work for you. They don't for me. Not that big a deal, i subscribe to a paid quote service that is quite adequate for the stocks i play. Thing that ticked me, though ... well one of them, lol ... is that when they killed real SI they killed my grandfathered Yahoo quote button down in the right-hand corner. I used to click it and it would give this - quote.yahoo.com Now i click the button that is clearly designed to appear as useful and it gives this - siliconinvestor.com So ok, looks like a quote site, i'll put my stock [only one on this site, notice] in and click - siliconinvestor.com Hmmm, what's this, 'Sorry, security isy.v not found' ... oh migawd, my stock has done dried up and blew away ... but wait, before we sell the dog to buy tacos let's check Yahoo, maybe they've got a clue, ok type 'qu' - aha, Netscape remembers ... ok enter isy.v click 'detailed' click 'get quote' - quote.yahoo.com ... woooo, bingo, Yahoo found it ... maybe we'll keep the dog and buy him a taco too, then we can hire him out to go2net, they can put him on the trail of my stock, lol. Which is not to mention the extremely useful overall view of the financial world that quote.yahoo provides ... look at all those links ... here's one i use a lot - quote.yahoo.com ... but there are many more - currency exchange, streaming Reuters, intraday charts, scan of US markets, etc. It's no biggie, i can clear a location bar and punch in 'qu' and hit Enter real fast, no problem ... but guess which window i do it in ... eee-yup, the one that used to be in SI .... but i'm just tickled pink for you, Junior ... cheers
