regarding getting IPOs premarket and then flipping them day one:

my wife's parents can't understand or comprehend that there's almost ZERO RISK with these IPOs IF

1) you are selective in which IPOs you attempt to go after
2) you are committed to flipping them at the open or at least setting stops so that you dont even come close to losing..

they keep telling me that there's "alot" of risk in what I'm doing... can someone show me where the risk likes IF you follow my 2 criteria?
