No, I've known about the electoral college for ages. I just wanted to show how stupid you were. You never voted for a president, you only voted for electors who are not even bound to vote for the candidate under whose name they run. Get real. This is a republic, not a democracy. No president's electors have ever gotten a majority of all eligible voters. Every president is in office because of a plurality of eligible voters at most. Several presidents have been elected even though their electors received fewer votes than one of their opponents.
