Rambus Inc. Announces Five RDRAM Suppliers in Volume Production
Hyundai and Infineon Pass Validation Tests, Joining Samsung, Toshiba and NEC in Volume Production
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 29, 2000-- Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS - news) today announced two additional suppliers of RDRAM(r) devices and RIMM(tm) modules, Hyundai and Infineon, have successfully passed component and system level validation tests. Hyundai and Infineon join market leaders Samsung, NEC and Toshiba in volume production of Rambus memory products.

The five validated manufacturers are ramping their production volume and are expected to deliver more than ten million RDRAM devices by the end of this Quarter. These leading manufacturers will support the growing demand for Rambus(r) products in a multitude of applications, including high performance desktop PCs and workstations, gaming consoles, communication and networking products.
