If AMD devoted those resources slated for Sludgehammer into something more profitable that doesn't compete directly with Intel's bread & butter (flash, for example), then AMD's share price would be a lot higher today and in the future. But, it's Jerry "beat the gorrila" Sanders we're talking about. He knows what's coming up from Intel (Itanium, McKinley, Big Will) over the next year, he's afraid, and so he starts talking trash. very amusing.
