Check this out , just released, up to 65% Rutile in one sample. Sounds excellent, and more to come from the rest of the holes.

3/16/00 - Pelican Mountains Mineral Sands Mineralogy
NEW BLUE RIBBON RESOURCES LTD. (+NBL-V+) - Pelican Mountains Mineral Sands - Mineralogy
New Blue Ribbon Resources Ltd. (+the company+) is pleased to provide the following update on its Pelican Mountains Heavy Mineral Deposit (PMHMD).

As previously announced the company completed a total of seven holes at its PMHMD. The results of Holes 1 through 3 were previously reported (2000-01-18). The company awaits analytical information on holes 4 through 7. All holes were completed within an approximately 1400 m long by 400 m wide area, centered upon a northeasterly trending linear magnetic anomaly.

The company has recently received additional information, as conducted by the University of Alberta, on mineralogy of the PMHMD. The following mineralogical determinations were completed by optical microscopic examination of the heavy mineral bearing intervals observed in holes 1 through 3. As such, all individual mineralogical determinations are considered preliminary until they are confirmed by microprobe analysis; however, total heavy mineral contents for most samples are considered acceptable.

Please note that for samples 14351 and 14352 the previously reported concentrations of TiO2 as determined by Neutron Activation are in conflict with concentrations of Rutile (TiO2) as observed in polish section. In order to resolve these conflicting results the company will forward samples these samples for independent 3rd party verification, upon their receipt the Company will initiate a program of resource estimation. Sample determinations for a selected 'grab sample' of outcrop material were completed by the Saskatchewan Research Council.

PM 99-02 approximate heavy minerals of 71/2% consisting 15% rutile, 55% ilmenite, 24% magnetite, and 1% ZrO2.

PM 99-03 approximate heavy minerals of 5% consisting 37% rutile, 40% ilmenite, 20% magnetite, and 1% ZrO2.

**To be verified.

The Company is very encouraged with these results and anticipates additional results shortly.

Over half a million shares traded today and we're up 18%. Not to mention that we're expecting more drill results out any day and I have a good reason to buy more. Alberta's 1st titanium mine - has a nice ring to it doesn't it.

Regards

Grant
