I envy the gains you guys made on SUNW, unfortunately I was too rational and missed out.

You did miss out, but what do you mean by 'rational'?

But I plan to make it up on the short side sometime in the near future.

Dale, if SUNW goes to zero in the near future, which is fairly unlikely, you can still only make up for part of the gains you missed out on if only you had bought it & held for five years. Unless you're going to risk an awful lot of money on puts.
