Piotr,

It's been that way for a l o n g time now <ggg>. The deal is either 'internet excitement' or some kind of spinoff pitch. Look at COMS. I remember asking on this thread not too long ago if anyone was biting when COMS announced bad news and the stock traded down to 20. I did not bite, (wish I had on that one!), and the stock today is trading at 92. I don't think it's because COMS all of a sudden became a networking powerhouse, but simply due to the 'PALM craze'. Doesn't make much sense, but it's real. As for CPQ, who knows. I've been trading it lately for a point or two here and there, it has been a reliable vehicle for that and not much else. In fact, I'm thinking of buying a load on close today if it hangs below 25 and unloading in a day or two if it moves up a point or so. That has been the pattern.

Regards,
John

Piotr,
Al is trying to pop the bubble with interest rates. This bubble doesn't care about interest rates. It prints money in the stock market and doesn't borrow it. Al is blowing more air into the bubble when he raises rates and kicking the value issues that are already hurting. You can't blame people for buying and selling the bubble at this point.

High risk and money available in the bubble. Just don't get caught there when it pops.

CPQ is a great value. I'm sure someone could benefit from the CPQ's "assets" at this price + small premium?? We don't see that forthcoming either...depressing as it gets for CPQ holders.

Like El, I have loosing my patience too. I was looking at my portfolio, everthing was in black except CPQ.
Unfortunately, 50% of my portfolio is in CPQ.

Good thing, I have other great stocks like RMBS (+60), COMS (+16) to help me going..
