Once again, "The Wise" is yappin' away with more FUD against Intel.

I am surprised you didn't find it balanced and objective. <g>

Tom and his site tend to over-do the criticism of under achieving CPUs and their manufacturers. He concentrates too much on the single CPU that gives him the highest frame rates in Quake, and everything else is garbage.

I personally think Coppermine is a good CPU, and the weaker FPU is not a problem for me. I think integer performance is more important. It has been lonely holding this opinion, but it is encouraging that all these Intel cheerleaders are abandoning their long held position (FPU uber alles) and changing over to my side.

Or could it be that the Intel cheerleaders have no opinions of their own, and just march in lock-step with Intel PR releases?
