Gary, you don't have to convince me about the irrationality of the current valuation. Remember, I sold almost all of my COMS position in the high forties.

Your point is a good one. Tech Investor shows that of the companies that IPO'd in 1999, those with earnings returned on average 90% by year end (included names like UPS and A), whereas those without earnings returned 224%.

Food for thought longer term. Irrelevant for the next few days.
