It was definitely mentioned (i.e. GLW/SDLI), I don't remember who posted it. This is obviously complete speculation but I like it anyway. The DOJ would never let JDSU buy out the entire fiber optic industry so are their major acquistions over?? I doubt it I believe they have a new large share authorization (I didn't check this one of my option trader fellow golfers told me this) - if so I am sure the new shares aren't just so all of us on SI can have more shares. That would be cute (GLW?SDLI) wouldn't it??? I have this gut impression that MR. CEO GLW is a RAMBO wannabe and nothing would surprise me. I think the management of GLW is on the ball. I don't have the vaguest idea of whether there is any sense to this combination. Anyone? I have the impression that GLW may wish to be more of a renaissance type of company with a full range of fiber optic products (without pissing off their customers). DoK DoK
