While preparing my Front Office monthly report for the G&K thread I noticed an alarming stat -- that the Russell 2000 has come on so strong in recent months that it has now surpassed the S&P 500 for the period beginning May 25, 1998.

You folks looking at the companies discussed on this thread are finally getting your well deserved attention by the market to the small-cap stocks. It's about time.

Bruce: I agree with your point re B2B. My own weight is that I hold SFE and ICGE (which I increased after spinoff from SFE)in equal fairly large amounts. And I have the other two in small amounts. Much more skeptical of them but have a foot wet in them to watch. And to my surprise Softbank has done pretty well over the last few months.

Welcome comments (particularly from you who show remarkable research skills - just IMO)

So let's continue this conversation. Enjoy the nurturer concept - particularly the extended "family" relationship among the companies that SFE and ICGE have such relationships with. Seems like that degree of cooperation and mutual support is a huge benefit to all.

Best.

Not necessarily true...with CMGI's new $1B "AtVentures" Fund focused exclusively on B2B investments, I'd say that CMGI will be a player in this segment of the Market for some time.
