Certainly, I agree that anyone who considers what is posted in these threads to be of serious value, is not of much value as an investor.
However, it is worth noting that the threads DO have power these days...much noted by the way so many "journalist" organizations follow them and post what is written. As a result, information that might typically be considered baseless or useless now has a forum.
It's an unfortunate truth that too much information is often a bad thing, in the sense that too much is roughly equivalent to none at all.
