They should simply price the Athlon until demand matches supply. It is only Intel that needs enormous ASPs to keep their shareholders happy." Short sighted. This is a marathon, not a sprint. The ultimate shareholder benefit for both companies is to maintain and increase the value, over cost, of the PC microprocessor. The two companies have more common interests than they do competitive interests. John
