I had to go with 98 cause Win2K wasn't available for the 5000, and I wanted to keep the weight with reasonable limits. As for travelling, I will do it occasionally, but will use the computer mostly at home. Why do the IT managers get fired for buying the Inspirons? Because they're too heavy, or because they're not durable?

I just noticed the Economist launched a mobile edition accessible via your PALM with the AvantGo software you downloaded at

It will be interesting to see other vendors launch their products configured for the PALM. Can you say "value chain?"
