SI Bob has asked me not to make off-topic posts on this thread, but apparently no one else. I am reluctant to waste everyone's bandwidth, when they want to read about the marvelous, ineffable, magnificent JDSU. You may be a very industrious man, although your mendicancy at the end makes me wonder. But you are obviously ignorant of the almost overwhelming desire of people to work. Your cynicism shows that you have never examined the data on labor force participation. I suggest you examine the studies of work motivation before you pipe off any more. There are many reasons why people don't work. Especially, anyone who doesn't have to work, like Bill Gates. Most people won't work at crummy jobs unless they have to. If a government is stupid enough to pay people not to work at the crummy jobs most people can get, they would be stupid to work. That's the government's fault. I have never lived any place where healthy men could draw relief, unless they were single parents of children. Everywhere in the US derelict and disabled people are able to draw disability or disability insurance. There are many close calls. But you seem to believe that there are lots of men lazing on relief. You are simply wrong, and you ought to do a little research to reassure yourself. Not that I criticize laziness. Laziness is of vital importance as a motivator to feed ourselves easier and better. When we were hunters and gatherers, it took all our time to find enough grubs and roadkill to feed ourselves. Now that all we have to do is buy a few shares of JDSU cheap and sell it dear to eat, we see how important being lazy is. Don't knock it until you've tried it.
