MtnGirl, the Naz be breaking out bigass
all the pundits are reading from a script
"the Naz is due for a 20% correction eventually"
they fail to offer any details
in early/mid Feb I said the Naz would hit 5000 by the Ides of March
I was inspired by Julius Caesar's death
he claimed to be god, and was proved wrong, dumb shit

the Naz is finding all kinds of legitimate reasons to kick butt
its money flow is strong
it seems to rotate from chips to telecom to media to biotech
it is reacting to real growth and expected future growth
in the last month its rise has been buffeted by the shorterm 18day Moving Avg

now it is maintaining an orderly ascent along the upper boundary of a strong upchannel
interestingly, it is NOT supercharging ABOVE the upper boundary, just tracking it in a healthy orderly manner

even the Naz relative strength is not getting beyond sustainable levels, well under the magic 80 (now 65-68)

Naz has seen already two 10% corrections in y2000
that may be enough to shut up the bear butt
investors and houses are not to be fooled again for a while
how knows how long it can last?

I have annually anticipated an early April selling session
people gotta pay some monstrous tax bills for y1999
nouveau riche jackasses need to pay tax bills for 1q2k

I agree wholeheartedly down to my loins with Voltaire
the ugly first half of the winter quarter sucked rat eggs
we have seen some good weather, even 70s in New England
I think Naz continues until it gets ridiculously overbought
the pundits today said they will believe the Dow rally when it rallies for more than one consecutive day
the converse is we can expect the Naz rally to lose steam only after rallying for 5of7 or 7of9 days

I personally stick with my 5000 call by Ides of March
I think the Naz is pursuing some psych goal, like 5000

I love days like yday, with Naz down in morn to prove it can sell off, then even by day's end
it allows for a shakeout every 5-8 days in healthy form
the Naz is correcting itself in midstream in gorgeous fashion
not to say it wont come back by 20% sometime
but that would need some real reason or scare

I say "Wagon Tech Trains, hoah, onto the Oregon 5000 Trail"
another few weeks
find a fundamental reason otherwise

(by the way, your question was a TA on stock index, not on the economy... nobody but nobody discusses the economy on this here creaky porch)

by the way, the FedReserve announced a month ago that it will refund 10yr TNotes and 30yr TBonds with surplus... IT HAS NOT YET... this event will not be a single quick event but rather spread out over time... this is Greenshit's nightmare #2: bonds are about to rally bigtime and usher another stock rally, probably focused primarily upon Dow Dusty Stocks
