I agree with your points. I think that the bull/bear debate is quite uninformative. Obviously, there will be bear markets in the future. We may be in a nascent bear market now, given the inverted yield curve, but I haven't taken any protective steps yet. I have started to think more defensively, but the stocks that I hold are still performing very well.

IMO, the most important attribute for successful trading is flexibility. My understanding is that Bobby B. has been an adept trader. His timeframe is different than mine, but I respect his views.
