I guess it was presumed last week that Daimler-Benz would seek out its own technology partner. It wasn't clear to me how ORCL & CMRC would "divy" up the software biz to be realized from the third to join the party. I curious how one exchange can run on three separate software platforms. I know they can be programmed to work together, but doesn't introducing a third, let alone a second create unnecessary complexities, inefficiencies & diminished economics into the model.
