Andre: I like your math but the way I see it the above would be true only if Palm also split; otherwise each of the split Coms shares would only receive .75 of a share of Palm.

As if this weren't complicated enough you throw in a theoretical split ( for no reason ). But why not make it really challenging. How many shares of Palm would COM holders get if there was a 7 for 3 split?
