Teflon, As part of my Project Hunt on Akamai, I did some research on Digital Island/Sandpiper and the competition they provide for Akamai. At that time, I thought they were in second place in the content delivery space that Akamai has been building. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on their CD solution, and whether that enters into your opinion of them as "a force." They have a great private network, and seem to be doing the right things in the network services / apps services space. buck
