HK Celestial unit to launch Windows-backed system

HONG KONG, March 1 (Reuters) - Celestial Asia Securities Holdings Ltd's <1049.HK> online financial services unit CASH on-line Inc said on Wednesday it would launch a stock trading system backed by Mircosoft Corp's <MSFT.O> Windows 2000.

CASH on-line said in a statement it would inaugurate on Sunday Hong Kong's first Windows 2000-backed stock trading system which provides high security with 128-bit encryption technology.

It said its business partners included units of personal computer maker Compaq Computer Corp <CPQ.N> and Internet services provider PSINet Inc <PSIX.O>.

Celestial Asia is a Hong Kong-based brokerage engaging in trading in securities, futures, options, commodities, bullion, leverage fianance, corporate finance and online financial services.
