Something rarely commented on is that Bush pulls in the women. McCain loses women. How interesting. Bush does have a tendency to kiss women a lot. I probably have 5 cheek kisses from him over the past 7 years. Also, he's very generous with answering questions, taking pictures when requested, autographs, and he's very good at thanking people for nice comments, etc. Have worked in each of his campaigns. I did get tired of listening to him say "Texas for Texans" but his speaking technique is improving a lot.
