Nice move Danny ... I've been thinking of doing the same with the puts. Also thought about doing it when the PALM IPO starts trading, if the pre-open indicators are looking good.

I have also thought of using puts to protect my long term COMS, but if I pay short term gains on the put winnings, wouldn't my hedge be just as inefficient as taking the tax hit by selling now ? I would appreciate some education on this.
