That's what it means, give or take a couple million.

Look at it this way... in Q1 of 1997, a current share earned the equivalent of 1.6 cents. Last quarter we earned around 25 cents or so. That's in 3 years time. I'm looking out 5 years. In that 3 year timespan, QCOM has garnered a sizeable but small portion of the overall wireless market. In 5 years I see it getting paid for a very large portion of the 2G, 2.5G, & 3G markets, and alot more (penetration rates 100+% due to non-phone related usages).
