I have a question about premiums. I bought CMGI calls last Fri. am and within an hour I had a pretty decent profit even though the underlying stock price had hardly changed. What would cause that to happen in such a short time period?

Also, how do you determine if a premium is at a fair price? With stocks I can look at a chart and get a feel for prices that way but how do you evaluate premiums? I ordered McMillan's book - is that something he talks about?
I'm looking at NTAP Apr 190 or 200 calls and am not sure which would be better. I thought someone once wrote here that choosing slightly ITM calls are always a better bet because the delta is higher. Is that right?

Love this thread............Lorinda
