It appears that Lucent is making its big play on the "all-optical router" we discussed. . . it was shorted back to nothing. . .and sat there. . .while those in the know [like many of us]. . .accumulated quietly. . . today this spike tells me it moved on more than just the news. . . next week's Fiber/Optical Conference could be the unveiling of their new Cisco killer. . . .and who knows how many other products? JDSU is said to have a few dozen of their own new products for next week. . . Julie, that optical watchlist says it all. . . these gains are outpacing most every sector in the market. . .and more attention should be given it. Rande Is
