So we stand in the pits . . furiously calling out our trades. . .but never more than a step away from the exit door.

I would think that the largest of the customers of the brokerages are getting vocal. . .we all need Dow 10k . . . these are the roots of our economy. . . however. . .can there be a separate market of tech stocks? Not necessarily tied to or related to the Dow? And can they be the ones that race north with an eye toward the future?

The techs must be allowed to run. . . the Dow has been an anchor. . .perhaps what we are seeing is a shaking loose of the anchor.

As for China devaluation. . . we have been looking for it for over a year now. . . and it hasn't happened yet. . . .yes it could be the one thing that turns it all around. . .but I must say that if I were to take a 20% hit tomorrow, I'd still be much better off than I was at any time during 1999.

So we make hay while the sunshines.
