I doubled my RRC position today. Worst case scenario it goes down 20% or is dead money for 1-2 months. Best case it could double during that same time frame. I'll take that risk/reward ratio.

RRC - a thing of beauty; it's a fight to keep the lid on it

Again; don't go crazy; but I am buying two opposite ends of the market spectrum today.

I all ready own solid positions in the UPR PXD XTO NBL EOG BR ETP HAL FLC PGO BHI DO RIG - middle of the road - standard positions.

I love the value still remaining in the E&P's and believe that the divergence in the valuation gap between OSX & E&P's - XOI will close; I am buying a basket of small caps and margining - some mini-major's - bought P UCL OXY MRO today and added refiner TSO - I think that the gasoline & distillate spreads will dramatically open up for refiners and if crude does retrace - these are the hedge-insurance policy - TSO MRO; also the integrateds have refining and E&P exposure. There is 50% upside at near historic bottom valuation multiples in P UCL OXY COC.b and the dividends are not bad either; I am beginning to margin these and am holding some buying power to add on weakness.

TSO is a sleeper - JimL ; what do you think here - I have some money for a re-test of the $8's - but, this could pop to $13 easily and then march back to $18 with gasoline demand coming ...

I also like the small caps that have been left behind and are looking like Deja Vu all over again - same story as last year. Holding RRC EEX MLRC ROIL RGO MEXP CRK - EEX has some major, major upside with Llano III - again, if they "ever" hit something besides sand, or water - to the moon alice !

Anyone buying here ?

Jon; why should RRC stop at $2 1/2; ak yourself why it popped over $3,25 in Dec & Jan ? - 60% upside just back to that... Good Long Term Hold, or trader here... maybe the best buy in small caps imho. Run the #' on what a year of $2.70 gas would do for these guys...
