There was a time when he was a Democrat. I have heard, although I don't remember where, that ever since he started his Almanac, he has been an Independent, and it is clear that he strives hard to avoid bias. I have read a lot of his stuff, and once had lunch with him in a group of people, and I am pretty confident that he is, at this point, conservative.........
