Sig,
Hi!!

RE: CLANG of the DELL TRAIN TAKING OFF...

Perhaps this will keep the DELL Train running...Been doing some research...Here are what I believe to be some interesting stats: Or perhaps why 30% is a given...

IMO companies are seeing how successful DELL has been with their e-Commerce and
they want to emulate that success....I don't think we should forget DELL CONNECT last August where over 1000 CIO's "visited" Austin.... With that said...most small and
medium businesses don't have the infrastructure or the money to build
an internet commerce site so they are looking to the leaders to help
them get into the space....Analysts have said that companies have to get
on the net or die and so there is a great rush to get there...."BRICK AND MORTAR".... DELL has
apprx. 25% of the small and medium business (per IDC) with another 40%
belong to the "white box" vendors (i.e. Joe's PC's down on the corner)
so that means that 35% is split up among the other major vendors....
Dell has a commanding lead here and so it is only natural that these
companies would look to Dell (their PC provider) for an e-Commerce
solution.

What does this mean from a revenue standpoint? ... potential incremental
service revenue plus the fact many of the major commerce sites will be
running on Dell servers.... (did you know Nasdaq is run on Dell servers??)... :o)

BUY DELL

Best, Kemble
