Haim,
this market is sick and it actually makes me sick a little bit too.I know that Michael Watkins and so many others say to just trade the chart and nothing else, emotionless etc etc but i seem too strongly fixed on old economy hangups like value although without any economical background this is more a subjective thing for me. I just know that i'm not willing to pay 300 bucks for RMBS or 200+ bucks for some obscure biotech company which might(!!!)license their first product in 2006+. This hurts my portfolio a lot and keeps me out of the market the last days while i see the NAZ blasting to new highs and stocks creating more and more vertical trendlines that seem unsupportable but still hold. I guess it's all supply and demand and there must be still a huge amount of money chasing fewer and fewer stocks. In the meantime a stock like goodyear fell from ~76 to the low 20s.I guess with all the telecommuting we don't need any more cars etc. That's the new economy. And them black tires are just too unsexy. Everybody uses them, they are easy to understand, unlike all these obscure genomics, superconductores, fibers, switches etc that only some techies understand.
Yeah, i think MRK, PFE, LLY etc have the aging process on their side but they just don't go from 50-400 in 3 month. They must be really old!!
So there you have it, the confession of someone who isn't that long in the market but still likes companies with real earnings.
And i know it's dumb not to profit from all the BS out there but that seems very difficult for me.
Like i said before- i think it was on another thread -
TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!!
;-)

p.s. i'm not a bear and think that a real bear would not be nice for this country(which is not mine actually but i live in the USA)or the world.A lot of people would get hurt badly and will be probably whenever this dream ends. But until them let's dream on even if it is from the sidelines.
