Dan But gun-control is just common sense, sanity, a starting point, for all but the extremists in this gun-crazy idiotic nation. The Second Amendment blather is just an excuse for extremists...."well-regulated militia"?, please... What study or statistics lead to this assumption? Have you read "More Guns, Less Crime" by John Lott. Well, there are a lot of "facts" in there, no matter how dumb you may regard them. Reading the news or watching it on TV might be regarded as limited by some. You seem to have comtempt for the Second Amendment and its authors. Perhaps that is just the feelings of a prudent man for an enemy who is too formidable to be safely opposed. The whole culture needs changing from top to bottom on this. Boy, you've got your work cut out for you there!<vbg>
