I've seen nothing official. But time has marched on and it's now 3/1. The action tells me we go.

Look at what's happened in the interveening 2 months: With all the mergers (GLW buying their companies, and SDLI buying their companies....) this is looking like a "clear for launch".

I'd expect the official word before too long. The decision to "risk it" and buy ETEK way under JDSU is paying off in spades so far. Let's hope the runner touches home plate.
