kash - <Why are they doing things differently.> They aren't. Intel has for years dropped prices slightly IN ADVANCE of product launches, not the same day. Somebody leaked something that wasn't meant for public consumption, and then it was misinterpreted. The channel and OEM's know when the launch date really is. End of story. PB
