John,

I think I can save you some time by explaining Citrix in a nutshell. Their product allows the applications program and data files reside on a server. The thin client can be a dumb terminal or a fully loaded PC, but the program and data files remain on the server in either case. Citrix's product allows the end user to access all the program files and manipulate all the data files as if they were on the end user's hard disk. Moreover, it doesn't matter if the program files are being used on Unix, Windows, Solaris, Mac and Linux platforms by employees. Citrix handles them all, all at the same time.

The issue of handhelds comes into play in that Citrix product also works with the Palm OS and most recently the Psion OS.

Hope this helps so you don't have to spend any more time researching Citrix relative to Phone.com.
