Sorry, I didn't catch who said it, but someone on CNBC just said "for every three shares of 3COM a person holds they will get 1.5 shares of Palm". That is just the reverse of popular belief.

Mang,

This will be a wireless tracking stock, not a full-blown spin-off. If I remember correctly, 20% is being sold to the public, 80% to be distributed to T shareholders. The vote is on March 14. It would be worthwhile to compare this one the the Sprint PCS situation.
