I have a pending cond offer with Wit Account. When it prices they will send me an e-mail to re-confirm. I don't know how Fidelity works but if you like I can post when I get my e-mail.

Greg-- full service brokerages get only so many shares after the institutions get theirs. The "big clients" do often get IPOs at the offering price. The more interest in an issue the fewer shares one MAY get. They all have different requirements. Mine "likes' $5 mil in net worth but puts them out to clients with 10% if they are active and aggressive. Each office gets a few to zero shares. Brokers may get the HOT issues to sell as a reward if there are too few to go around. Those that buy the cool IPOs are often thought of for a small portion of the hot ones if any shares are available. Orders are actually requests that can be for 5K shares and be offered 100 to the full amount to none at all. So-- even the "big clients" if they are not an institution size and active trader are just a bit better off than the small clients. All in all I have found the huge amount of fees paid each qtr well worth the money even if no IPOs are involved..

Greg,

News from FIDO. The website is NOW OPEN to CONFIRM. I SUGGEST THAT EVERYONE CONFIRM and/or RE-CONFIRM (since the previous confirms you did today have been deleted!!)

YOu have until 12:00am (midnight) ET on the web, or 1:00am ET by phone.

Per FIDO reps I spoke with.

BUT.........Don't wait. Do IT NOW.

Steve
