David; If PALM comes out at the whisper number of 71 then the most COMS could be at that point is 1.5 times or 106. It's not unreasonable to think that COMS could take a hit tomorrow and be in the 95 range at the PALM opening. Bill C.

David,

Seems to me that one of Goldman's key objectives has to be to make this one of their most successful IPOs.

If I look at recent hi-tech IPOs, anything less than double the IPO price on day one will be seen as "not stellar". Most of the more successful ones have finished day one at 3 to 5 times the IPO price.

So I would guess that PALM will hit 3x38 at some point during the day. With no discount and assuming COMS sans PALM at 20 (conservative), this equates to COMS hitting 191 at some point during the day.

Thoughts anyone?

Steve
