I hope you don't believe that the desire to make a profit is going to make the Chinese law-abiding. They aren't, and as far as I can tell, never have been. The problem is that there are, at minimum, two parties to every trade. If one party cheats, steals, and uses force to achieve an advantage, it's not such a good deal. You can call that "moralizing," I don't. I've seen too many pirated CD-roms, Gucci bags, and Rolex watches to have faith in the Chinese way of doing business. No, of course it's not just the Chinese, but we shouldn't grant normal trade relations to renegade countries PERIOD.
