John, <Interesting that according to CNET, they will be available for the consumer market, but not the corporate market. Sounds like a real good idea for a limited quantity release. Intel marketing appears to be thinking ahead.> Good observation, and it makes sense IMHO. Limited quantities in Intel terminology probably equals the volumes on the Athlon from AMD. Also, Athlon's do not compete in the corporate space either. So this looks like Intel is taking aim directly at AMD and turning on the pressure. I think AMD will have to "scramble" to keep up.
