"I am rapidly discovering that the real money (real quick) is to be made in tornados whatever the outcome" Yes TP I came to that conclusion myself a few months ago... and had to face the sad fact that ... yes ...

I'M ADDICTED TO TORNADOS! <vbg>

Want to know why the NAZ has boomed the last 10 years? ... easy... lots and lots and lots of tornados. The internet tornado is going to dwarf the PC tornado. Touches so much more. Touches and affects EVERYTHING! and.. even more importantly.. appears to be condensing the market place into the buyer versus the seller... i.e. cutting out middle men everywhere from the investment, publishing, banking institutions to almost every retail establishment there is. Heck even grocery stores are affected (WebVan!)

>> Okay, maybe it's hard on the retired folks to have to look at the market to see if the game is over, but that's why you stuff the profits in generally accepted gorillas.

Actually I agree with your and MtnLady's addiction to Tornados, particularly in this market. I'm not sure if your "madness" label is accurate; there is a major paradigm shift taking place and valuations may be reflecting a new vision that may well come to pass; that would be my "A" scenario <g>. My largest gain this year is from ntap, which I think is a King, but it's in a huge Tornado.

RE: Gorilla vs. Royalty

Tiger,

No doubt that in the 'short term', everything is getting thrown up the beach with the tornado waves. As Moore has stated, this is normal. The question becomes what you want to be holding as your core holdings when that wave starts to break. Something solid that will hold footing on the beach and walk inland, or a lot of things that trickle back out into the ocean.

Know the risks of each and be prepared for the long term. And always respect the water.
