Exactly. I closed out all my short positions whether they were profitable or not at the end of last year and concentrated on going long broadband/fiber/wireless. No regrets. Besides, rooting for quality management is so much more enjoyable than fighting with sleazebags.

Dale--I made most of my money last year short side.
This year I have not shorted a stock, some wicked action though. I anticipated the biotech run and have had a great time. Also a taste of wireless action, this market is rewarding long.
