Nortel Networks And Vodafone To Test
Wireless Internet

RDSL

01 March 2000

Mobile giant Vodafone AirTouch (UK) and Nortel Networks are
joining forces to test a packet-based IP architecture for wireless
Internet services in Dallas, Texas.

The test will begin in March 2000 and will aim to demonstrate
that wireless service costs can be significantly cut via the use
of packet technology, 3G radio technology and
industry-standard servers.

The trial will use the CDMA Metro Call radio base stations and
Passport packet switching equipment from Nortel.

Coots...you've got nerves of steel. There is no way I could sell covered calls on my Q stuff. I would be flapping all night...

"Lordy, tomorrow AT&T is going to announce they are switching to CDMA...I just know it..."

I did flip my 2001 Leaps into 2002's yesterday. I like the extra mileage. I still want to know who sold those 2001's to me when Q was at $113. Wow! No comprende.
